If possible I'd suggest adding a darker or more shady skin to the forum. The bright colors are a pain when I'm on my pc late at night in a dark room.
Minor complaint and it has no haste. Can live without it.

As long as its not burning my eyes when I'm in the dark I'm fine with it. But something mythical, fantasy ish would suit the theme I guess.

Hmm, yeah. As long as it fits the colour scheme and isn't too complex or 'in your face'. I don't want people to come on and only see the image in the background. (Which is why I prefer a simple background, rather than images). ^^

A pretty moon or mist arent too distracting, but can convey that mythical roleplay feel of fantasy  |
